Workspaces. Multi-brand isolation and seat management
A workspace is the organizational unit in Siren. Brand DNA, generated assets, campaign history, Brand Memory, connected accounts, and API keys belong to a specific workspace. One workspace is one brand.
When to use multiple workspaces
Most solo founders and small teams run one workspace. Use more than one when:
- You manage more than one brand with a distinct voice, palette, and audience. A fintech product and a lifestyle brand should not share Brand DNA.
- You run an agency and need each client's assets, history, and Brand Memory isolated from the others.
- You want separate Brand Memory pools. A product brand and a founder personal brand should deepen independently.
What does not require a separate workspace: different asset types (cards, videos, and carousels live together), different channels (X and LinkedIn share Brand DNA; that is the point), or different campaigns (campaigns are not a workspace-level concept).
Workspace limits by plan
- Spark: 1 brand workspace.
- Pro: 3 brand workspaces.
- Scale: 10 brand workspaces.
One plan covers all of them. Extra brand workspaces you add share the plan you already pay for and one credit balance, so a client's brand never needs its own subscription. Spark to Pro is for videos; Pro to Scale is for more brands.
Workspaces count against your workspace-owned limit, not your seat limit. Seats per workspace: Spark 1, Pro 2, Scale 5.
Seats and roles
Each workspace has its own member list. Adding a team member to one workspace does not grant access to another.
Roles:
- Owner: full control, including billing, Brand DNA, connected accounts, and member management. The account that created the workspace is the owner.
- Admin: can edit Brand DNA, generate campaigns, connect accounts, and manage non-owner members. Cannot delete the workspace or change billing.
- Member: can generate campaigns and view assets. Cannot edit Brand DNA, connect accounts, or manage members.
Switching workspaces
The workspace switcher is in the top-left corner of the dashboard sidebar. Click the workspace name to open the dropdown. You can switch without logging out. Brand DNA, history, and assets update to the selected workspace.
Deleting a workspace
Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace. This is permanent. All assets, Brand Memory, campaign history, and connected accounts in the workspace are deleted. If that workspace holds your subscription, cancel or move the plan in Billing first: the brands that share it lose the plan with it.
Data isolation. Brand Memory is workspace-scoped. Generations from workspace A never influence generations in workspace B, even if the same account is a member of both. Cross-pollinating brand voices is how drift happens.
